A pair of MBU track athletes earned All-American status this weekend, when they competed at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in Edwardsville, Illinois. A total of nine Spartan athletes competed in the three-day competition.

Junior Meagan Hudson  earned her All-American title for the third straight year in the 3,000 meter steeple chase. She fiinished in third place, with a time of 10:46.60. In his first appearance at the meet, freshman Junior Hines finished fifth in the 400 meter hurdles, with a time of 52.79, just two seconds behind the first place finisher.

Meagan and Junior will be honored for their accomplishment at the MBU Spartan Hall of Fame Banquet on November 13th, 2009.
