ST. LOUIS – [MATCH RESULTS] After winning its final home match of the regular season, Missouri Baptist Sand Volleyball grabbed two more against Principia (Ill.) in the team's final regular-season tune-up, 3-2 and 4-1.

Missouri Baptist (4-10) have put together four wins in a row after Saturday's wins and are looking to make some waves next weekend in their first trip to the Fiesta at Siesta Small School Championship next weekend.

The Spartans grabbed wins at their top three teams in the first match of the day, two of which came in straight set sweeps. Jen Brendel and Hannah Carey teamed at No. 1 and took their match over Sophia Hathaway and Deanna Schenk, 21-11, 21-15. Shelby Clifton and Julia Whitfield did the same at No. 3 in consecutive 21-17 set victories.

Principia gave the Spartans a bit of trouble at No. 2, but Missouri Baptist's Marion Couraud and Mallory Dillon found their way to a win. The team took the first set 21-16, and dropped the second 21-12, before winning the tiebreak 15-7.

Emelie Fredrickson and Cha Cha Fisher downed Audree Morecraft and Peyton Yoder, but the Spartan No. 4 duo grabbed the first set 21-15 in the process.

Allie Schmerbach and Molly Fox also dropped their match at No. 5, 21-18 and 21-15.

The Spartans were more dominant in the second win of the day as Coach Chris Nichols shuffled his teams. Hannah Carey and Mallory Dillon teamed at No. 1 to take the win 21-7 and 21-14.

Jen Brendel and Marion Couraud took-on Mia Gill and Emily Tippetts and grabbed a win of their own at No. 2. The Spartan duo knocked-off their Principia counterparts 21-9 and 21-15.

The teams stayed the same at Nos. 3-5 for the Spartans and Missouri Baptist picked-up wins at two of them. Whitfield and Clifton claimed victory at No. 3 21-15, 21-12 while Fox and Schmerbach also grabbed a win in three sets, 21-15, 17-21, 15-9.

In exhibition play, Cammi Davis and Karli Mezo picked-up three-set wins in both matches.

Missouri Baptist will conclude its inaugural campaign in the coming weekend in the Fiesta at Siesta Small School Championship in Siesta Keys, Fla.
