ST. LOUIS – [FINAL RESULTS] The Missouri Baptist Men's Golf team continued their spring schedule on Monday and Tuesday with a sixth place team finish at the Lindenwood University Invitational at the Missouri Bluffs Golf Course in St. Charles, Mo.

Junior Cody Stevens led the way for the Spartans on Monday, and posted scores of 78 and 70 on a 36-hole first day of competition, good for sixth place in the 58 man field. Curtis Brokenbrow (75-81), Ryan Rerich (79-79), and Jan-Henry Jordaan (81-77) all provided solid contributions to keep the Spartans in the hunt going into day two.

Missouri Baptist would hold their 6th place team position at the conclusion of play on Tuesday. Stevens battled for an 82 and tournament total of 230 to finish 18th.

Brokenbrow climbed five spots on the leaderboard with a second day 77. That gave him a two-day total of 233 and another top 20 finish for the freshman from England.

The Spartans will be back in action at the Huntington University Invitational at the Trophy Club in Lebanon, Ind., on April 22.
