For the third game in a week, the MBU women's soccer team was held scoreless, as they lost to Kansas Wesleyan University 4-0 at Soccer Park in Fenton on Saturday. With the loss, MBU drops to 2-3.
The Lady Spartans have played the last week without All-Conference forward Taylor Hay, a key component to the MBU offense. MBU took 14 shots, and junior goal keeper Michelle Smith (St. Louis/SLCC-Meramec) recorded six saves.
The Lady Spartans will host Oklahoma Wesleyan University on Thursday at noon. The game will be played at the Chesterfield Athletic Complex.
