The MBU women's cross country team fielded a small team and placed seventh at the Saluki Invitational at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale on Saturday.
Senior Meagan Hudson (Festus, Mo./Crystal City HS) once again set the pace for the Lady Spartans, finishing in seventh place in a strong field of 66. Hudson finished the 5k in a time of 19:07.1. Also competing for MBU were sophomore Lauren Scott (Arnold, Mo./Fox HS), who finished in 26:30 and freshman Kenyatta Harris (St. Louis/Gateway HS), who finished in 28:13.
The Lady Spartans will return to action at the Loyola University Sean Hardin Classic on Saturday, October 3rd.
