The MBU men's golf team took third place of 19 teams at the Milliken University Big Blue Fall Classic this weekend. The Spartans finished with a two-round score of 608 (307-301), just five strokes behind team champion Olivet Nazarene University.
MBU senior Dustin Hoehn (Farmington, Mo./Farmington High School) finished in second place in the individual competition. Hoehn shot a two-round score of 146 (75-71), to finish two strokes out of first place. Also finishing in the Top Twenty for the Spartans were freshman Jack Jackson (United Kingdom) and senior Kyle Jasper (Marthasville, Mo./Francis Howell HS). Both finished in a five-way tie for 14th place, with a two-round score of 153, (shooting 78-75 and 76-77 respectively).
 
The Spartans will conclude their Fall Season at the Maryville University Fall Invitational on September 11th at the Aberdeen Golf Club in Eureka, Mo.
