The MBU baseball program will host its Annual Fall Parents, Family and Friends Day on Saturday October 24, 2009. Parents, friends, and supporters of the MBU baseball program are invited to come out and meet the Spartan Baseball Team.

The Spartans will be competing in Game 5 of the Blue/White Fall World Series at 12:00 p.m. MBU President Dr. R. Alton Lacey will throw out the first pitch. The Blue/White Fall World Series is the culmination of the fall practices in which the MBU players are divided into two teams to see which team can win in a best of five series.

Following the game, all the players and coaches will be introduced to all in attendance. Those student-athletes who will be competing in their senior season in the Spring of 2010 will also be honored. The event will be catered by Chick-Fil-A. There will be sandwiches, nuggets and strips along with refreshments. Those who attend are asked to bring a side dish, salad or dessert.

This day will give all who attend the opportunity to see the renovated field, featuring a new brick backstop with state of the art netting from dugout to dugout and a concrete patio area that will help the spectator experience.
