Six Lady Spartans found the back of the net in an 8-0 rout of Harris-Stowe State University last Thursday. With an easy win in the Lady Spartans only game last week, Missouri Baptist improved to 6-6-1 overall, 3-2-1 in the American Midwest Conference.
   
Leading the MBU scoring barrage was sophomore Amy Kelly (Ireland) with three goals. Juniors Christina Burton (St. Charles, Mo./St. Charles CC) and Janee' Patton (Jacksonville, Ill./Heartland CC) each contributed one goal and one assist. Senior Taylor Hay (Edwardsville, Ill./Edwardsville HS), freshman Natasha Whitlock (St. Ann, Mo./Pattonville HS), and freshman Christina Frkovic (St. Charles, Mo./Timberland HS) each scored one goal. Dishing out assists for the Lady Spartans were junior Heather Allen (Foristell, Mo./St. Charles CC) with three and senior Amanda Renaud (O'Fallon, Mo./St. Charles CC) with two.
 
The Lady Spartans will face AMC opponent William Woods University on Saturday, October 24th at Soccer Park in Fenton. The game will start at 5:00 p.m. and will be followed by the men's game.
