Taking the highest honors for MBU were sophomore middle hitters Jessica Bowman and Megan Moore. Senior libero Amanda Wolf took home Honorable Mention All-Conference honors. Seven Lady Spartans also earned Academic All-Conference honors; Kaila Bequette, Jessica Bowman, Danielle Deno, Erica DeVilbiss, Chelsea Grimshaw, Justine Host, and Amanda Wolf. The honor is bestowed on those returning athletes earning at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.

The Lady Spartans concluded the 2009 season tied for third place in the AMC with an 11-5 mark in conference play, and a 23-7 overall record.
