ST. LOUIS—[BOX SCORE] Missouri Baptist Women's Lacrosse fell 8-7 to Missouri Valley College on Tuesday afternoon. The Spartans had a 5-4 halftime lead but Missouri Valley scored four unanswered in the second half to turn the tables.

Missouri Baptist fell behind 2-0 early before a Laura Ebers marker at 19:12 cut the lead in half. Ashley VanCamp tied it two minutes later with her fifth goal of the year. Stacy Rohan then scored three times in two minutes to give MBU a comfortable 5-2 lead.

The Vikings battled back, however. The home team scored six of the next seven goals to retake the lead. McKenna Fisher notched her second of the game and 25th of the year with 1:49 left but the Spartans ultimately ran out of time. The loss drops their record to 5-3 on the season.

The Spartans' next action will be April 13 when they take on Georgetown College (Ky.) at home. First faceoff at Spartan Field is set for 3pm.
