ST. LOUIS— [BOX SCORE] Women's Volleyball continued play in Canton Mo., against Culver-Stockton College. The Wildcats put up quite a fight, but it wasn't enough to defeat the Spartans.

Missouri Baptist dismantled Culver-Stockton in the first two sets, 25-14 and 25-17. The third set, however, was not in the Spartans favor. The Wildcats barely inched their way to a fourth set (25-23).

The Spartans started off rocky in the fourth set, but eventually, regained composure. After a kill from Spartan Athlete of the Week, Cate Cigarini, MBU found themselves in the lead. A kill from senior Marion Couraud ended the match, allowing the Spartans to claim their seventh straight win.

Tina Medanovic led the match with 29 attacks total, 17 of them being kills. Cigarini followed close behind with 25 attacks, and 14 kills.

The Spartans have now won seven in a row, and look to stay on top this Thursday against Central Baptist, and Friday against Lyon. MBU will come home for the first time this season on Tuesday, September 19 to take on University of Illinois at Springfield.
