Sarah O'Donnell, a midfielder for the Lady Spartan soccer team, has been named 2009 NAIA Women's Soccer All-American Honorable Mention.
O'Donnell, a sophomore from Dublin, Ireland, earns the All-American recognition for the first time in her career. She played a key role in MBU's success this season. She led Missouri Baptist in both shots (2.5/game) and shots on goal (1.35/game). The Lady Spartans finished the season 12-8-1 overall, 6-3-1 in the American Midwest Conference. They won the AMC Tournament, earning a spot in the NAIA National Championship Opening Round for the first time in program history.
