Jynna Fritz had a solid day and helped the Spartans to an 8th place finish
Women's Cross Country - Sat, Sep. 30, 2017

ST. LOUIS -  [RESULTS] The Spartan Women's Cross-Country team raced at the Louisville Cross-Country Classic on Saturday and put together a solid outing. The squad finished in eighth place out of 31 teams in their division in perhaps their longest regular season road trip in a decade. 

The Spartans were led by Rebecca Starrett who had a great day with a 25th place finish out of 265 racers. The sophomore finished her day with a time of 19:57.48.  April Goetz also had a great day with a time of 20:26.16 which was good for 52nd place. Jynna Fritz finished just behind Goetz in 54th with a time of 20:26.95.


Two other Spartans finished right outside the top 100. Ansley Little came in 103rd with a time of 21:10.66 and Faith Reynolds came in 109th with a time of 21:16.01.


The Spartans will head to the Principia College Cowbell Classic in their next outing on Saturday October 14. The race will take place at the home of the 2017 American Midwest Conference Tournament, hosted by Missouri Baptist.
