Women's Soccer senior forward Haylee Eastridge was named AMC Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday. For more, read the following story by AMC SID, Scott Barker: 

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Camila Chaves of Harris-Stowe State (Mo.) and Haylee Eastridge of Missouri Baptist are named AMC Women's Soccer Defensive and Offensive Players of the Week respectively, the conference office announced on Monday. The duo was selected based on their performances Oct. 2-8.

The next AMC Players of the Week will be announced on Oct. 16.

AMC Defensive Player of the Week
Camila Chaves, Harris-Stowe State (Mo.)
Fr., GK, Bogota, Columbia

  • Totaled 11 saves in the Hornets 2-0 week.
  • Made 11 stops in a 2-1 win over Williams Baptist.
  • Recorded a PK save in overtime to send the game into double OT, where the Hornets defeated the Eagles.
  • Allowed just the one goal in 147 minutes.
  • This is her first career AMC Defensive Player of the Week award.

AMC Offensive Player of the Week
Haylee Eastridge, Missouri Baptist
Sr., MF, Hillsboro, Mo.

  • Scored three goals in a 5-1 win over AMC opponent, Lyon (Ark.).
  • This was her fourth hat trick of the season.
  • Leads the AMC in goals scored (21).
  • She leads the NAIA in shots per game (7.8) second goals and third in points (44).
  • Added an assist for a total of seven points on the week.
  • This is her second career AMC Offensive Player of the Week award.

Other Notable Performances:  

  • Erin Douglas, Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) – Led the team to a 2-0 week with six saves and two goals allowed.
  • Kaitlyn Tambke, Columbia (Mo.) – Had an assist and helped the Cougars to a 2-0 week and leading the defense to 11 shutouts this season.
  • Kelsey Mirts, Columbia (Mo.) – Recorded a hat trick in the Cougars win over Stephens.
  • Samantha Clymer, Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) – Picked up three goals in the Lions 4-1 win over Williams Baptist.
  • Lizette Popoca, Harris-Stowe State (Mo.) – Scored three goals in the Hornets  12-0 win over Manhattan Christian College.
  • Maisie Kincaid, Lindenwood-Belleville (Ill.) – Recorded three goals in the Lady Lynx win over Central Baptist.
