Coach Joly and the Missouri Baptist Men's Lacrosse Program are pleased to announce a new addition to the 2010-2011 signing class.
Mike Howle is currently a senior at Wentzville High School. He began playing there as a defenseman. He was later asked to move to midfield to fill in spots that seniors had left when they graduated. For the coaches at Wentzville it was a no-brainer to move Mike to midfield. He posses great strength and a tremendous shot from up top that later landed him spot on the Man-Up squad.
Wentzville Head Coach Eric Paddock said of Mike, "Mike is a very coachable kid, the kind of player any coach would be blessed to have on the team. He brings a rocket of a shot, with the body of a mule… I am sure he will succeed at the collegiate level."
MBU Head Coach Andy Joly added, "The coaching staff is very excited that Mike has decided to commit to play for us next year. I think he is going to make huge contributions on the field next spring as a freshman, and I cannot wait to watch him grow as a student-athlete here at MBU."
