Head Coaches from the Great Rivers Lacrosse Conference placed their votes to rank all teams in the annual Pre-Season Coaches Poll. Missouri Baptist makes a huge jump to be ranked third behind last year's GRLC Champions Missouri State University and last year's runner up Wheaton College."We are very pleased to be recognized by the rest of the conference, especially to be placed around such established programs like MSU, Wheaton, and Creighton" said MBU Head Coach Andy Joly, "I think our conference is going to have a very exciting season this year, I know I speak for all the players and coaching staff when I say we cannot wait to open up the season this month."

The Spartans will open the 2010 campaign February 27th, when they host Miami of Ohio at CBC High School at 1:00 p.m.
