The MBU men's and women's teams faced cross-river rival McKendree University at Kings Point Sports Club in Belleville, Illinois on Saturday. Both teams suffered defeat.
The men's squad went winless, losing 9-0 to drop to 0-2 in dual play so far this season. The Lady Spartans picked up one win in singles play, losing 8-1 to open dual play with an 0-1 record. Sophomore Kristen Roberts won 6-1, 6-1 at number six singles.
