Both the MBU men's and women's basketball programs once again boast athletes receiving NAIA All-American honors. Brandon Roberson, a senior guard for the Spartan squad, and Jessica Moore, a junior forward for the Lady Spartans, were named NAIA Division I All-American Honorable Mention.

Roberson earns the honor for the second consecutive year. He was twelfth in the nation and led the American Midwest Conference in scoring, averaging 19.93 points per game. He also led the Spartans in assists (3.57/gm) and steals (1.67/gm).

This is Moore's first season with the Lady Spartans, and first NAIA All-American honor. She was 16th in the nation and led the American Midwest Conference in scoring, averaging 17.4 points per game. She also led the Lady Spartans in blocks (1.17/gm).
