The MBU softball team swept
a doubleheader from
visiting Stephens College on Monday 2-1 and 7-3.
In game one, MBU senior
Julie Hathaway and freshman Dani Bayer delivered clutch RBI to back
the five-hit pitching of senior Jenni Kemp.
In the nightcap, the Lady Spartans
banged out 12 hits and were led by Dani Bayer's 2 hits and 4 RBI.
Lesley Kennedy and Megan Wildhaber also chipped in with
2 hits each.
With the wins, Missouri Baptist improves to 4-4 in the American Midwest Conference, 19-13 overall. They travel to Fulton, Mo. on Wednesday, April 7, for an AMC double header against William Woods University.
