The MBU Women's Soccer program has signed Melissa Schnettler
from St. Charles, Missouri for the 2010 season. She will be transferring to Missouri Baptist University after spending her first year of college
at Truman State
University in Kirksville, Missouri.
"We are very pleased
to have Melissa joining our squad this next season," said MBU Head Coach Deno Merrick. "She has a great head on her shoulders.We know she well do well both in the
classroom and on the pitch, bringing both size and strength to our front
line.She will bring a quality of play
that can keep us competing at a top level."
During her soccer career at St. Charles High School, Melissa earned several awards including; All-Conference
Honorable Mention and team Offensive MVP, Team Captain, and two-time Hustle Award
Recipient
Melissa also played
for the volleyball and softball teams and competed on the swim team. Her senior year she was the
Female Athlete of the Year and was also the City of Saint Charles Schools Hall
of Fame Honorable Mention.
