The MBU men's golf team finished second of eight teams at a soggy Baker University Wildcat Spring Invitational last week. The field completed just two rounds, as the final round was canceled due to rain.
The Spartans finished with a team score of 634 (324-310), just five strokes out of first place. Pacing the Spartans once again was Kyle Jasper, shooting a two-round score of 154 (79-75). He tied for fourth place overall. Also competing for MBU were Mike Ferris (156), Dustin Hoehn (161), Jack Jackson (167), and Steven Went (172).
Up next, the Spartans will compete April 30 - May 1 at the AMC/NAIA Unaffiliated Grouping Tournament at Whispering Creek Golf Course (Sioux City, Iowa).
