
Jack Jackson was one of three golfers named All-Conference.
The MBU men's golf team finished in fourth place at the American Midwest Conference/Dakota Athletic Conference Unaffiliated
Men's Golf Championship on Saturday. The Spartans finished in second place of all AMC teams, behind overall champion William Woods University.
The Spartans posted
a team score of 632, 31 strokes behind William Woods at 601. Overall runner-up Minot State
University had a score of 629, and Dickinson State University was third at 631.
Jack Jackson led MBU with a two day total of 152 (74-78), finishing fifth overall. He earned First Team All-Conference honors along with teammates Kyle Jasper and Dustin Hoehn.
Among all AMC teams competing, McKendree University
finished third at 644 (fifth overall) and Hannibal-LaGrange finished in fourth place (sixth overall) with
a team score of 655.
The 36-hole event was held at
Whispering Creek Golf Course in Sioux City, Iowa.
