Missouri Baptist University Head Women's Lacrosse Coach Katie Rau has been named the recipient of the U.S. Lacrosse Missouri Chapter Commitment Award. Recipients of the award have demonstrated a commitment to the development of the sport of lacrosse in more than one facet.
Coach Rau has been recognized for her demonstrated commitment to coaching both the MBU Women's Lacrosse Team and the National qualifying U.S. Lacrosse Central Division Girls Club Team. She is also recognized for her volunteering with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Camp and her willingness to help new coaches locally and nationally by holding a coach's clinic and by presenting at the US Lacrosse National Convention.
Coach Rau has spent two seasons at the helm of the Missouri Baptist women's lacrosse program. They Lady Spartans finished with a record of 4-7 this spring.
