
In his first six seasons, Coach Yehling has an overall record of 171-76 with MBU. He has coached several All-Americans for both the men and the women, and in 2006 coached Ana Mercado to the NAIA Player of the Year Award. He was also named Conference and Region Coach of the Year in 2005.
Coach Yehling is originally from St. Louis and attended Vianney High School. He married his high school sweetheart Jessica in October of 2004. Their first child, Cecelia Christine, was born May 29, 2008.

Chris Nichols is in his second season as Associate Head Coach for the women's volleyball program. Nichols has been at Missouri Baptist since 2000 as a player He became an assistant coach on the team after graduation before his promotion to Associate Head Coach.
Nichols graduated from Francis Howell High School in St. Charles where he was a four-year varsity setter from 1997-2000, including the 2000 State Championship team. He played for MBU for three years and helped the Spartans earn second place in the National Tournament in 2003.
In addition to his playing experience, Chris is also an experienced coach. He coached the varsity boy's and girl's volleyball at Francis Howell High School from 2002-2005, and helped the girls team to its first conference and district titles since 1981 He was also instrumental in helping the boys team to three-straight final four appearances.
Over the last five years at MBU, Coach Nichols has helped to lead the women to its first Final Four finish in the 2005 National Tournament.
Chris also is very reputable in the club volleyball scene where he has helped start Kaepa St. Charles in 2003 and served as Club Director/Coach for Team Saint Louis VBC from 2004-Current. TSL has merged with High Performance and is now High Performance STL VBC, currently Chris remains very involved with High Performance as a coach and women's Development Director.
