Andrew Joly - Head Coach - 5th Season

Coach Joly enters his fifth year as the Head Men's Lacrosse Coach at MBU. Prior to taking over the MBU program in its first year, Coach Joly coached at the high school level, beginning at DeSmet Jesuit High School, followed by Rockbridge High School in Columbia, MO. After graduating with a Bachelor Degree in Psychology from University of Missouri he returned to St. Louis and to his alma mater to coach another year. Coach Joly has also recieved a masters in arts of counseling from Missouri Baptist.

Prior to coaching, Joly played four years at DeSmet Jesuit High School. After graduation he played at Wittenberg University (NCAA) where he was the third leading scorer as a freshman and later with the University of Missouri (MCLA-GRLC) leading his team in total points in his junior year.

In his second year as Head Coach at MBU, and the team's first year in the Great Rivers Lacrosse Conference, Joly led his team to the conference playoffs, where they later lost in the quarterfinals.

In 2010 Coach Joly was awarded the Division II Great Rivers Lacrosse conference coach of the year. Since being here at Missouri Baptist he and his team have produced 29 all conference award recipients, six all american award recipients, four academic all american recipients and one great rivers lacrosse offensive player of the year.

His team also in 2009 was the GRLC tourney qualifier in their first offical season, in 2010 the team was GRLC conference champion runner ups, in 2011 they were GRLC conference champions and also in 2011 made it to the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Associations national tournament.

Mike Blodgett - Assistant Coach - 4th Season

A 2002 graduate of DeSmet High School, Mike won two state championships at the varsity level. Upon graduating, Coach Blodgett earned playing time at Lindenwood University and later at the University of Missouri. Coach Blodgett also has been the Head JV coach at Lindbergh High School as well as the Assistant Varsity Coach.

After graduating from the University of Missouri, he was an Assistant Coach for the 2007 State Lacrosse Champion Rockhurst Jesuit, while at the same time coaching the Freshman Hawklets at Rockhurst to an undefeated season.

Coach Blodgett is in his second season at Missouri Baptist as the Defensive Coordinator.
