Three members of the Missouri Baptist University men's basketball team have earned American Midwest Conference honors. The Spartans, who finished third in the AMC Regular Season, can boast two First Team members and one Honorable Mention athlete.

The MBU men's basketball team's season came to a close, when they were upset 68-77 by Harris-Stowe State University in American Midwest Conference Tournament Opening Round play at Muncy Gymnasium on Thursday.
For the third time in the last four weeks, MBU's Brandon Roberson has been named as the American Midwest
Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week. Roberson earned the
honor for his play during games from Feb. 22-28.
The MBU men's basketball team split in its final week of AMC regular season play last week, and will take a third place seed into the American Midwest Conference Tournament this week.

National Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday.
Roberson was honored based on his performances from Feb. 8-14. He was chosen
out of a pool of players of the week selections among 12 conferences and
independents.
