ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Baptist women's soccer team closed out the season in a heart-breaking game against William Woods University in the American Midwest Conference (AMC) Championship match. The Spartans dropped the match in a 0-0 draw which ended in a penalty kick loss to the Owls.

LOUIS – [BOX SCORE] Missouri Baptist women's soccer played nearly perfectly through 110 minutes of play on Thursday in the American Midwest Conference Championship match, but fell in the shootout as the William Woods Owls advanced to the NAIA National Championship Opening Round with a four-goal shootout win.
Missouri Baptist University's Donna Joliff marks this week's AMC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. Jolliff maintained her position as a prominent offensive threat in the Spartan offense by putting together four goals in two AMC tournament matches.
The title of this week's AMC Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week is granted to Missouri Baptist University's Kathryn Kessler. Kessler, a sophomore from Florissant, Mo., has allowed only one goal in two tournament games while recording 14 saves. In doing so, she has recorded a 0.950 save percentage for the tournament.
ST. LOUIS – [BOX SCORE] Missouri Baptist women's soccer needed a lift after a rough first half, and Taylor Giese provided just that in the American Midwest Conference Tournament Semifinal on Monday afternoon. Giese posted the game winner, just minutes into the second half and netted an insurance goal minutes later to lead the Spartans to a 4-1 win and a trip to the Conference Championship Match.
