For the second year in a row, the MBU women's soccer team participated in the Walk MS in Clayton. The members of the Lady Spartan squad walked on April 11, 2010 to raise awareness and funds for the Gateway Area Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
The MBU Women's Soccer program has signed Melissa Schnettler
from St. Charles, Missouri for the 2010 season. She will be transferring to Missouri Baptist University after spending her first year of college
at Truman State
University in Kirksville, Missouri.
The MBU women's soccer team took off their cleats on Sunday, March 28, and stepped onto the court of Saint Louis University High School. Nineteen members of the Lady Spartan program had the opportunity to work with KEEN (Kids Enjoy Exercise Now) in providing one-on-one recreational opportunities for youth with developmental and physical disabilities.
The MBU women's soccer team's season came to a close on Saturday, losing to the #1 team in the nation. The Lady Spartans lost 2-0 to top seeded Lindsey-Wilson College in the NAIA National Championship Opening Round. Photos of the game can be found at this link.
