ST. LOUIS – [FINAL RESULTS] The Missouri Baptist University women's wrestling team finished out the 2014 WCWA National Championships in ninth place of eighteen teams with a team score of 72 points. The team was also the 2013-2014 WCWA Scholar Team Award runner-up. Four Spartan wrestlers earned WCWA All-American honors by placing in their respective weight classes.
ST.LOUIS – [DAY ONE RESULTS - TEAM SCORE] 219 participants from 18 different schools descended onto the Missouri Baptist University Campus on Friday for the Women's College Wrestling Association (WCWA) National Championships. The hosting Spartans put on a strong showing in the opening rounds of the tournament and find themselves in seventh place after day one.
ST. LOUIS – On Friday at 10:00 a.m., Missouri Baptist University will open its doors to the women's wrestling world. The University, in conjunction with the WCWA (Women's Collegiate Wrestling Association) will host the WCWA National Championship Tournament on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 24-25.
ST. LOUIS – Missouri Baptist women's wrestling came-up short of placing on Saturday as the team went 2-2 in the NWCA National Duals.
ST. LOUIS – Freshman Bree Rapoza finished second in the 123lb bracket on Saturday, which led all Spartan wrestlers at the Warrior Open, hosted by Waldorf College.
