Indianapolis, Ind. [RESULTS] - The Spartans show improvement in their second outing of the season. The team finished eleven out of seventeen teams and had scores of: round one 327, round two 308, and an overall score of 635. The team was just two below Holy Cross College and St. Ambrose University who tied for ninth.
ST. LOUIS - [RESULTS] The men's golf team started off their spring season placing seventh out of ten in the Dalhousie Shootout. Day one the team ended the day with a score of 317 and ended day two with a score of 332 giving the team a total of 649.
After a rough start to their fall 2013 season, the Men's Golf team recovered nicely and showed flashes of their potential entering the spring 2014 season.
Despite a decent showing from Sophomore Jared Paddick (who finished tied for 38th) in the Missuouri Intercollegiate tournament, the Spartans, as a team, struggled and finished 14th out of 15 teams. The Spartans showed signs of rust as well as possibly nerves in their 1st tournament of the year, and posted their worst scores of the fall.
ST. LOUIS – The Missouri Baptist men's golf team capped-off a successful season in 2013 with a run to the NAIA National Golf Championship in Salem, Ore., and will look to improve with a young team in the 2013-14 season.
