St. Louis, Mo. - As the Missouri Baptist University tennis
program prepares for action this spring, the team took time to assist the
United States Tennis Association Wheelchair Championships.
Missouri Baptist University men's tennis player Nick Jannett and Head Women's Tennis Coach Marty Tanner were recognized as MBU's Young Professional Majors of the Year at the Missouri Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance Fall Convention in November.
The MBU men's tennis team concluded its season with a 5-0 loss to McKendree University at the NAIA National Qualifying Tournament on Saturday. The Spartans finish the season 3-9 in head-to-head competition.
The MBU men's & women's tennis teams concluded the regular season of play with losses to William Jewell College at Creve Coeur Racquet Club on Saturday, April 17.
