LAWRENCE, Kan. - Missouri Baptist sprinter DeWain Meeks led an impressive group of runners this past weekend as the Spartans competed in both the KU Jayhawk Classic and at Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday.
Both the men's and women's track teams had a standout day at the Illinois College Snowbird meet on Saturday. The men finished sixth out of 12 teams and the women finished fifth out of 12 teams.
Carbondale, Ill - The Spartan track and field team opened its indoor season this weekend, competing in the Southern Illinois University-Carbondale's Saluki Open.
Elsah, Ill. - Missouri Baptist's Alex Chavez and Allie Rother both brought home first-place finishes at the season's first indoor track meet on Saturday in the 3,000 meter race walk.
Guadalajara, Mexico - Current Missouri Baptist University student, Junior Hines, has worked extremely hard to get to this point. Now, in his junior year at the University, he will represent the Cayman Islands in the Pan Am games currently underway in Mexico.
