Elsah, Ill. - The Missouri Baptist University cross-country teams both turned in strong performances in the most difficult course of the year at Principia University on Friday. In the race, the women finished in the middle of the pack, while the men surged to a second-place finish behind the host school.

St. Louis, Mo. - Missouri Baptist University named two of its top cross-country runners as Spartan Co-Athletes of the Week on Tuesday. Adrian Liddell and Alex Weathersby both put in outstanding times in the past weekend's meet at Southern Illinois University Carbondale to win the honor.

Warrensburg, Mo. - The Missouri Baptist University Cross Country teams completed their second meets of the season at the University of Central Missouri on Friday with mixed results. After all results were tabulated, the women finished in eighth of nine teams, while the men finished in fifth of nine.

St. Louis, Mo. - The Missouri Baptist men's & women's cross country teams opened their season on Saturday against a stiff field of competition in the Washington University Early Bird Invitational.
