Marshall, Mo. - The Missouri Baptist University women's wrestlers competed over the weekend in Marshall, Missouri. It was a long day of wrestling for the team and one Spartan prevailed. Desiree Ramos, a freshman from California, wrestled hard and received a fifth place finish in the Missouri Valley Open.

The MBU men's wrestling team is ranked 19th according to the NAIA Wrestling Coaches Top 20 Poll, release November 23. Senior Anton Prater, who finished fifth at the 2010 National Championships, is the highest ranked Spartan. He is ranked third at 133 lbs.
