ST. LOUIS – [Box Score] For the first time in 2014, the Missouri Baptist women's volleyball team dropped an American Midwest Conference match. The Spartans fell to No. 2 Park, 3-1 (25-17, 25-19, 23-25, and 25-23). The NAIA Match of the Week did not disappoint, as over 850 fans saw two of the top programs in the country battle on the court.
ST. LOUIS – Two of the top teams in the country will do battle on the volleyball court on Friday night, as No. 7 Missouri Baptist hosts No. 2 Park in the NAIA National Match of the Week. Raising Cane's and Imo's Pizza have been named title sponsors of the match, which has been themed "Halloween Costume Night."
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Ally Krus of Missouri Baptist has been named the NAIA Volleyball National Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday. Krus was selected based on her performances from Oct. 13 – 19 and was chosen out of a pool of conference player of the week selections.
ST. LOUIS – [Box Score] Fresh off its highest ranking since 2006, the Missouri Baptist women's volleyball team proved to be too much for William Woods, as the Spartans won, 3-0 (25-11, 25-11, 25-15). The latest NAIA Top 25 rankings slotted Missouri Baptist as the No. 7 team in the country.
ST. LOUIS – Junior setter Ally Krus was named by the American Midwest Conference office as the AMC Player of the Week.
