ST. LOUIS – Missouri Baptist Men's Tennis played through rainy conditions against a quality NCAA Division II squad, Lindenwood (Mo.) and was unable to gather any momentum on Thursday. The Spartans played tough in several matches, but after four of the six singles matches were unable to be finished, the team lost 5-0 to the Lions.

MOBILE, Ala. - Missouri Baptist men's tennis played its first ever match at the NAIA national tournament on Wednesday. The 22-seeded Spartans took on the 11-seeded Crusaders from William Carey, but fell 5-1, ending the Spartans' historic season.

ST. LOUIS -- [BRACKET] The Missouri Baptist Men's Tennis program is set to make its first-ever NAIA National Championship appearance next week in Mobile, Ala. The Spartans drew the 22-seed and will face 11-seed William Carey (Miss.) on Tuesday, May 17th. 

Quick Facts: Spartans- 11-7 (7-1), Automatic Qualifier (NAIA Unaffiliated Conference Tournament Champion). William Carey- 12-7 (7-3), At-Large Selection. Field consists of 24 teams (13 Automatic, 10 At-Large, 1 Host Bid). Winner will face 6-seed Keiser (Fla.). Follow @MBUAthletics for updates throughout the match.

ST. LOUIS - Missouri Baptist men's and women's tennis teams traveled to Olathe, Kan. for the The NAIA Unaffiliated Group Tournament (American Midwest/Heart of America) Championships this weekend. At the conclusion of the tournament, six Spartans received all-conference honors.
